In partnership with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department and San Bernardino County Coalition Against Sexual Exploitation, DBH participated in a Human Trafficking Awareness Walk in Rancho Cucamonga on Jan. 21.
The event featured a community resource fair, opening remarks from representatives of San Bernardino County including Sheriff Shannon Dicus and District Attorney Jason Anderson. California Majority Leader Eloise Gómez Reyes also spoke at the event. During the walk, participants held signs and chanted as they walked to four corners of an intersection where many drivers honked in agreement with the cause. DBH's Public Relations and Outreach team provided general behavioral health resources while in attendance of the event in recognition of Human Trafficking Awareness Month.
