The annual awards honors people and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional service and have made a commitment to the safety and well-being of at-risk children and youth. "With Juvenile Court Behavioral Health Services, Valentina has worked closely with Children and Family Services, Juvenile Court, DBH psychiatrists, and DBH nurses to conduct 2nd Opinion Evaluations of children and youth to explore diagnostic dilemmas and treatment options. Her warm, collaborative approach toward the process and her comprehensive reports have established the high standard for the program."
