On Thursday, April 27, 2023, from 8 a.m. to noon, San Bernardino County will participate in the National Take Your Child to Work Day. This annual event is an educational program that allows you as parents, grandparents, and guardians to bring your child or grandchild to work for the day so they may get a glimpse of all of the important work our County Team does and to help your children explore what is possible for their future. It provides a forum for children to better understand the significance and importance of our jobs to the communities we serve. See highlights from last year's event.

In celebration of this day, the County’s leadership team would like to invite you and your child to visit the San Bernardino County Government Center, located at 385 N. Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino, for a host of fun and engaging activities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Planned activities include, but are not limited to:
  • Interactive department booths and giveaways
  • The Board Experience: Mock Board of Supervisors meetings
  • Face painting
  • Photos taken with parents/grandparents/guardians and County officials
If you are interested in attending, register here no later than April 7, 2023. Before signing up, please consult with your supervisor to ensure that your attendance does not interfere with operations. You will be able to bring up to two children (age 8 to 18) per family.
