Employee Action Committee

about

DBH's Employee Action Committee, led by the Public Relations and Outreach division, was formed to act as an advisory body to the executive team and provide a forum where staff can contribute ideas on employee engaging activities.

The committee shall consist of volunteer members representing different Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) programs/units.

For more information, contact an EAC member.

Current initiatives

The first initiative the committee put forward is a casual dress day once a month. DBH staff are now permitted to wear casual dress the first Wednesday of each month – starting July 5, 2023!

Please note the following guidelines:
  • Blue denim jeans are permitted when paired with a department approved collared shirt bearing the County logo.
  • Colored denim jeans are permitted on this day and do not have to be paired with a department-approved collared shirt.
  • Attire must be appropriate.
  • Staff attending a meeting or training on this day, or those who do not want to participate, Department Dress and Grooming policy must be adhered to (may not wear jeans).
If you have any questions, please speak to your supervisor.
